  • Be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Own the tools required for your service categories.

Work & Earnings

9. How do I set my rates?
  • Your rates are up to you. QuickHands gives you an idea of what’s competitive in your area, but you’re in control of your pricing.

  • Customers pay through QuickHands (credit/debit).
  • QuickHands releases payouts weekly to your linked bank account.
  • You’ll receive payment minus QuickHands’ service fee (commission).

There’s a service fee on every job you complete. It varies depending on what you’re doing and how big the project is. You’ll get the details when you’re onboarding.

  • For general services: Liability insurance is recommended.
  • For regulated trades: Insurance is required.
  • QuickHands also offers access to discounted insurance packages.

Yes. Taskers need to have their own tools and safety gear. QuickHands doesn’t provide that stuff. You’re on your own for equipment too.

Bookings & Cancellations

  • More than 24 hours before: no payout.
  • Less than 24 hours before: Tasker receives a partial payout as compensation.
  • Cancel as early as possible in the app.

No-shows are a big deal. They hurt customer trust and can get you suspended or even kicked off QuickHands for good.

Trust & Safety

17. How are disputes handled?

  • Add references and upload certifications.
  • Record a short video introduction.
  • Be punctual and professional.
  • Maintain positive reviews and ratings.
